A Letter from the Producing Artistic Director

Here at the Fine Arts Center Theatre Company we hold our season subscribers in the highest esteem. We realize our subscribers are the foundation of our audience base, and as such, we go out of our way to offer them the lowest prices possible with a generous benefit package. To us, offering you five high quality productions for the price of four isn’t enough. We believe you should have the right to:

Keep your same seats, or upgrade to better seats, as a renewing subscriber
(Renewing subscribers have until July 1, 2008 to be guaranteed your current seats.)
Claim the best seats available months before single tickets go on sale.
Pay no “handling fees” that apply to single ticket purchases.
Take advantage of our easy exchange policy.
Have the assurance that we have a record of your tickets even if you misplaced them.
Take advantage of our new “trade out” policy.

In keeping with the Fine Arts Center’s vision for the future, the Fine Arts Center Theatre Company productions “provide innovative, world-class programming to an ever expanding audience.” However, we understand that theatre, as with all art forms, is subjective in its nature. What’s enlightening to one audience member might be objectionable to another. It is for that reason we will be offering our 2008/2009 subscribers a new “trade out” policy. This new benefit allows all subscribers the option to “trade out” their tickets for any given production for additional tickets to another offering. There is a two show limit connected with this policy and it applies only to Fine Arts Center Theatre Company productions.

Before you make your selection, seriously consider becoming a member of the Fine Arts Center. Our membership packages offer discounted rates for seniors, members of the military, and families. As a member of the FAC you will receive a discount to all Fine Arts Center Theatre Company productions. We would also like to remind our subscribers that they can order their intermission beverages in the Deco Lounge prior to the start of the show and not have to wait in line at intermission to be served.

Exchange Policy
Available to season ticket subscribers only

One of the benefits for subscribers to our upcoming theatre season is the ability to exchange subscription tickets for any performance that is not sold out, beginning September 1, 2008. Please familiarize yourself with the following rules and procedures of our exchange policy:

You may exchange your ticket(s) as needed, but all exchanges must be made no later than 24 hours before the date of the performance printed on your ticket.
Exchanges are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that your usual seating will be available for the performance date you wish to exchange to. Please make your exchanges as early as possible for best availability, as we are unable to honor this exchange policy for sold-out performances.
Exchanges must be made in person (with your tickets in hand) at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center box office. The box office is open Tuesday through Friday and Sunday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you cannot make it here in person, and with time permitting, you may mail your tickets to us with a note detailing the exchange you wish to make. Please include your name and phone number so we can call you if we have any questions.
