On Thursday, Oct. 2 we are combining a First Thursday Tasting with a gallery opening celebration! The two new exhibitions, Place and Time and An Imaginary History of the West, offer a provocative view into the history of the American West through the eyes of both an early 21st century photographer and an early 20th century painter. In addition to wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres, we will have two bands and gallery tours.
Plus, we will feature a special musical performance by our very own FAC Security Guard Kelly Jeppesen, who happens to be a world-class violinist and former member of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and Oregon Symphony. Kelly will perform tracks from his CD, Full Circle. With each track, a projection of a Kelly Jeppesen oil painting will be displayed on a screen … an abstract expressionist multi-media tour de force!
